  1. The Republicans may be skating on thin ice with the present slate but for what it is worth Romney’s story of being a CEO with executive political experience is resonating around the country. Jon Huntsman has an interesting strategy but it is not a solid one. The only thing that bothers me slightly about Mitt Romney is that this is a do over and the electorate in a very quiet and subtle way seems to be up for an alternative. I would discount the rest as WH triumphs and wait for Perry of Texas. Great history of creating jobs and being tough on the border issues. Perry has to be less somber, voters like a bright assuring smile. Our problem is that so many people are attracted to Obama as Obama, period. They just want a cool handsome President no matter what has happened.
