The only thing I have to research before I give you a good answer on gay marriage is this.I grew up on the Upper West Side of New York where many gay people lived in apartments and owned businesses. I have never met a stupid gay person and my favorite folk rock group is the Indigo Girls. So if gay marriage in the text of drafted legislation means going to the City Clerk, getting a certificate which is constructive evidence and then repairing to your domicile and that’s it,I approve. What about entitlements.? When my wife and I married she had been fired from her job but I had a top paying position with an International Security Services firm with all benefits.My wife immediately was vested and when our children came they would have been swept in.So if a gay executive in a blue chip firm is one partner and the other takes care of the house, what is the non earner going to receive? We have a 15 trillion dollar deficit.
