Ellis, You and I are from a generation which I am sure you recall featured a product jingoism especially when it came to vehicles. Over forty years ago when someone in your neighborhood bought a Datsun or a Yugo instead of the required Chevy Belaire or Pontiac with the Indian hood ornament or a Ford Galaxy you were branded a traitor. Today nothing could be further from reality as the Japanese and Korean and German makes employ thousands in the US, pay taxes, rents et al, have plants stateside, you are actually helping our economy by buying them just as in the case of GM. Ellis, I will be honest with you, I have only owned Toyota, Hyundai and Honda since 1986. In all the time between all those cars I had to replace one ignition lock.That is what American industry is looking at.
