“I’m going to judge Newt by his policies, by his leadership skills, his reliability – not his dating history.” – Ellis Henican
Newt Gingrich became the latest Republican candidate to endorse the so-called marriage pledge, a document put forward by an influential evangelical group in Iowa that opposes same-sex marriage and abortion.
Mr. Gingrich stopped short of signing the pledge but he did pledge to “uphold the institution of marriage through personal fidelity to my spouse and respect for the marital bonds of others.”
“I thought getting married was an infidelity pledge” – Ellis Henican

Ellis- All of the events described above are for naught because Gingrich by virtue of some odd statements is now in third place in Iowa at 14%. It not only looks dismal for the prospects of even the nomination but the Democrats now have no chance of winning the election by default. Obama is going to have to win re election by whatever merits he can conjure up.
