TALK-RADIO HOST
“There was no one, not Lech Walesa – not even Ronald Reagan, who inspired so many from beneath the boot of Soviet domination as did the brave Václav Havel.” – Ellis Henican
Václav Havel – playwright, essayist, poet, dissident, human rights activist, politician, former president of the Czech Republic. He changed the world – shining a beacon of freedom that has not been extinguished. Many Americans don’t know the name, but Havel redefined the cold war and was elected his country’s first president after the nonviolent “Velvet Revolution” that ended four decades of communist repression. He died, at the age of 75, on December 18, 2011.
