There is only one theorem that will put into perspective the hypothetical but impossible candidacy of Newt Gingrich, the Galileo showman of the Republican Party-he could not beat Obama in a month of Sundays.Even though Obama has given us nugget programs like the stimulus program, the Clunker program, credit card reform with the same interest rates, with Gingrich it’s a feeling by the voters that at least they know the sitting President.Gingrich is the perfect foil for Obama. He would be 72 in his last year, he has white hair, he is stout and Conservative.Do you honestly think that Obama would have any trouble beating him. All he would need is cool, tall, trim and looking good. Issues would be exempt. The Democrats and the Left want Newt for the above reasons.
