“So far we’ve just got murkiness. They think that by going beyond campaign slogans they’re going to tie themselves in political knots.” – Ellis Henican
First it was the economy with neither side putting forth a specific plan on how to solve the issues facing America.
Then came the terror attack in Libya. Suddenly foreign policy is front and center and likely to be a focus of the upcoming Presidential Debates.
Unfortunately, this campaign has been dominated by 3rd party ads and slogans. Neither party seems to be anxious to share any detailed ideas.
The election is less than six weeks away. Let’s hope both candidates use the debates to give voters a more specific and detailed look at their plans and policy.
