Journalists and commentators covering the 2012 presidential election gathered last weekend for the NYPC Foundation Conference on Journalism to assess the media’s campaign coverage so far. Topics included the ability of the press to change voters’ minds, the influence of fact checkers, and the changing profile of the political journalist in the age of digital media.
