President Barack Obama is promoting the Warren Buffet-inspired Buffett Rule, which would require Americans making over $1 million a year to pay at least 30 percent of their income in taxes. Warren Buffett, who backs it and has said he pays a lower tax rate than his secretary.
The president is drawing a contrast with Republican candidate Mitt Romney, who paid a roughly 14% tax rate in 2010.
